>>183105Yeah, well, it is indeed not set in stone… But you know people who do observe the traditions think of them as very old, practically ancient, wat their ancestors would do. But dat ain't the case… I guess it's about having connection with people, like, I dunno, having common ground or something.
Eh… I guess I were more about how this language and those words show us how we perceive the world and stuff. You can't say dat motherland doesn't invoke associations with how people live every day, so, maybe it is about patriarchy… Either way, I can't say anything good about filial piety. While everyone should consider having compassion, no one should be forced to do so.
Eh. It's true, individualism isn't dat old, but you really can't succeed in anything without some help. First to become a teacher you need to be taught by a teacher… So, nah, I guess humans wanting to have uhhh individuality, be distinguished, is basically ancient. After all, when you are a hunter gatherer, how do you choose if you want berry or meat? Easy to say dat you would be practical and get whatever is easier to get, but I guess sociality mattered to humans more than practicality. So, I dunno, humans sure as hell never were a superorganism like ant or bee. In Soviet Union, if a worker failed quota, well, other worker already failed quota too so it didn't matter dat much. It didn't lead to fall of the whole regime, at least dat surely wouldn't be the reason for it… So there is no way for a human to exist on their own, as a singular entity in isolation. All humans are related somehow or other, but I guess dat shouldn't be an example of dependence, I think it isn't true, instead its just sticking around thing. Your relation with environment and other guy can be beneficial to you, or not. Dat kinda thing.
