1) Just because you have more knowledge about a subject doesnt mean that people can understand wat you suggest. People prefer to offload things they have trouble with to other party, it is very human thing, and in this case your father is just offloading some car stuff to you. 2) You were right in establishing your own personal boundaries. Im proud of you, dont let other people to do this to you. This, however, doesnt prove that your father or his woman is stupid. It means that they are socially smart and use the means available to them to achieve their goal, which is a very smart thing
3) You shouldntve done dat. For one, it is of no use arguing about technical point with someone who has to use AI to get a gist of it. All you can do is to try to explain basic of basic, but people usually just want to know is something good or not, not really how it is. So, LLMs are trash indeed but so wat? The point is dat your father want you to help him and if you dont want to thats fine too, you however dont need to blowing up any fuses and stuff
4) Again, why are you eager to teach? They dont want you to teach them, they want someone to fix their problems. It is useless to teach someone who doesnt want it, no matter how much better would it be for them. Just set up your boundry and say no if you feel like you are being exploited

6) You are misguided. If you going to try to teach everyone and help everyone, of course they gonna come to you if they think you gonna solve their problem. They might do it out of geniune sense of being lost or just because you always produce good outcome in thee end. So, the problem then is not good quality of information, there is plenty of it out there, but you caring too much about things dat accidental and not caring a lot about things which are direct in consequence
