Well, if that was true, they would have shuttered Nixies which is their pc porting studio. But they closed Bluepoint instead which is their remake studio.
Sadly the pc move already alienated a lot of their paying customers and you can see the distrust (and people advocating to move to pc) in comment sections of playstation focused magazines like pushsquare.
So this is all a rumor until nixies gets closed.

They are mismanaging the hardware and physical side as well which lost my trust and I don't see a reason going back
