>>231135cool, dats really helpful. especially the idea of iterative writing, havent thought about it much that way, rewriting and improving like that. thats a good idea, because i want to write about, well what i want to write about, and not really force to write something else just for the sake of learning.
Yea advices are just advices, otherwise HP wouldn't have the popularity it does, i get that. It depends but its hard to know what it depends on.. Maybe on HP case it works because its a school year, so even though its a repetition, its not really, because the grades dont go on forever.. Also the characters evolve and grow more mature, so there is that.. lots of things when you think about it.. So i think this kind of repetitive structure works if its there for a reason. maybe? idk, but it works really well.
yeah, how can you not steal? if you recognize something as cool and really like it and then avoid using it just to be original, where does that get you? it gets you making worse, for the sake of originality.. there is no true originality anyways. But you need to avoid stealing too much from single source, otherwise you end up with cheap copy, and nobody likes that..
Well, i happen to like subversion too. there is something similar in HP, because they always suspect the wrong enemy.. then the real enemy is discovered. Well it probably no in pair with your example, but i get what you mean..
Sure, you can have characters without names if you have your reasons for it. that was just my advice and it was all about clarity. well, its hard for me to grasp, i can tell you that much, but im not gonna oppose it. I can tell you my view from certain point of view, but im not gonna advice you to not do what you want to do..
