I have noticed that South Americans (especially shitty Peruvians) are trying to culturally appropriate the Mexican tradition known as "Day of Dead".

And honestly, I blame Tiktok, shitty James Bond movies and the algo because of this.

"Day of Dead" was just a normal, old tradition to venerate the ones who passed away, but shit went mainstream and commercial, and know every fu*king influencer is trying to make monies off this tradition z specially filthy South Americans who are now saying that "Day of Dead" is not longer a Mexican but "Latin American" tradition.

Fuck them

Does this happens in u're country? Is there any tradition, food or cultural event that is being appropriated by lesser countries?
