opinion on yakuza games?

I enjoy them, pretty great Brawlers with JRPG elements, the Like a Dragon games are turn based tho, some games like Yakuza 4 have stupid things like a guy "killing" tons of persons but turned out to be fake bullets or rubber bullets.

Also, the recent remasters are changing the story where the villains or other characters don't die anymore.

Anyway, they're cool and they have lots of mini games and substories, I like the old SEGA arcade mini games as well. :DDD

They're cool. They have a very different open world design to GTA clones, those games have huge open worlds but a lot of it is just kinda empty space. The world in Yakuza is tiny but it's super dense with side activities, side quests etc. The combat is really fun as well. The writing can be annoying sometimes tho, so much ridiculous shite happens lol
