The video is titled McDonalds Heist Extreme and Chicken McWings from Blue Van Man (also known as BVM), an Engl*sh guy in his sixties who reviews food, drinks, and everyday bullshit on his YouTube channel. He’s one of those reviewers who films inside his blue van (hence the name), goes to McDonald’s, orders the new stuff, tries it with a “what the fuck did I just put in my mouth” face, and drops honest opinions with a lot of ranting, British swearing, and the humor of a guy who no longer gives a shit about anything.

McDonald’s UK is in the middle of its “World Menu Heist” (or “World Heist”) campaign, a gimmick where they “steal” popular dishes from other countries and bring them to England for a limited time.

They already dropped the first wave in September, and on October 20, 2026 the second batch arrived. Blue Van Man went straight to try them and reviews them one by one, classic style: he orders, sits in the van or in the restaurant, takes a bite, makes faces, talks with his mouth full, and says whether they’re worth it or a complete fucking scam.

The new items he reviews are:

•Chicken McWings (brought from China)

Finally, chicken wings at McDonald’s UK! They come in 3 pieces (£3.49), 5 pieces (£5.49), or 10 pieces only through the app (£8.99).

The guy tries them, talks about how crispy or not they are, whether the chicken is juicy or dry as a shoe sole, and if they’re worth it or just the typical fast-food wings that leave you still hungry.

•McExtreme (brought from Spain)

A heavily loaded burger: two British/Irish beef patties, bacon, crispy onions, cheese, and a “baconnaise” sauce (mayonnaise with bacon) on a toasted sesame seed bun.

It costs around £8.99 on its own or £11.09 as a meal. Blue Van Man definitely breaks it down, comments on whether it’s greasy, if the sauce is good, or if it’s pure marketing.

•Twix White Salted Caramel McFlurry (from Germany)

Ice cream with pieces of white Twix salted caramel and caramel sauce. There’s a regular and a mini version. Here the reviewer usually goes softer or more critical depending on whether the ice cream is melted or if the flavor is actually good.

•Peach x Sprite Zero (from Singapore)

Sprite Zero with peach syrup. A refreshing sugar-free drink. He probably comments on whether it actually tastes like peach or just cheap chemicals.

The video follows Blue Van Man’s classic format: relaxed intro (“Right folks, how are we all now?”), he goes to McDonald’s, orders, complains a bit about the service or the prices, tries each item with close-ups of the food, makes faces, drops honest opinions (sometimes he praises them, sometimes he tells them to go fuck themselves), and ends with an overall verdict + “like and subscribe.”

It usually lasts between 15 and 25 minutes, with a bunch of digressions, jokes, and the typical complaints of a British guy who’s tired of all the corporate bullshit.

It’s the day-one review of these new items. People who follow Blue Van Man watch it because he’s one of the first to try them and because he doesn’t lie to anyone: if it’s good he says so, if it sucks he says so too. In October 2026, with the second wave of the World Heist, this video is one of the most relevant for knowing whether it’s worth going to McDonald’s and spending your money on these new releases.
