It's a cult where people do bible sessions and interpret holy scriptures in whatever way they want.

Imagine quran wasn't as strict on everything and stuff could be up to interpretation and you have several groups of people doing weird shit like extreme fasting and rejecting modern medicine.

Like think shia islam had hundreds of branches and everyone had their personal takes on hadiths but also focusing a lot on work ethic and assisting the local community but also doing weird shit like saying how to teach children in schools, rejecting medicine, doing stupid fasting… Yeah okay that's kinda normal islam tbhh but it's weird to see it in Christendom.
