/bs/ - backstory

So I have this zoomer Ukrainian friend who moved to Canada and went to Mexico to vacation.
He congratulated me every birthday and generally is a really cool guy.

He dmd me two weeks ago that he was in Mexico again and told me we should hang out.
I said yeah whenever you want is cool just say when.

Yesterday he called me @ night and said can I go to your place? My (other) friend kicked me out cuz he wanted some time alone with his gf lol

I was about to say no but I was like eh whatever it's been 5 years and he promised beer so whatever.

Next morning wakes up and goes back with his other friend and is just like dude we should go to Tequesquitengo (vacation lake 2 hour away from the city) next weekend and actually do some shit together. Says sorry about being so spontaneous and genuinely thanks for your kindness.
I open his Instagram stories after like ages and he just posted 3 stories on how he is gonna livestream epic white mexican adventures with his other friend in a local park, obviously doesn't mention me tho.

Ehh… Nevermind the personal rant which you can ignore altogether if you just skip to the next paragraph but one thing specifically left me wondering:

TL;DR what's the appeal behind watching streams of people hang out as friends in a park and just have fun? I half get Chino watching Poniko because he is a gooner who hasn't had sex since generations. But damn why would you watch people hang out instead of literally hanging out with friends yourself? And I ask this as a goyball enjoyer… Idk maybe I'm just boomermaxxing
