*scrolls back through the mess of personal notes*

Hmm, basically I read a bit of commentary on Cartesian philosophy and it kinda came to me that the only unquestionable thing in this world is movement - like, change of any kind: mechanical, material, informational etc. In the mysterious play of the universe, things are only as real as they keep moving. Remove the movement, and the causal chain itself breaks down, becoming irrelevant in a completely homogeneous blob. Religions also sorta recognize this, though there are a lot of things to say on the matter overall I guess. Also in that light it's not a surprise that a lot of personal power comes from adaptability - transformation of self of any kind - and transmuters of any kind are powerful beings in tales lol.
