i think he just finally decided he's too good for imageboards. like how one day he was too good to watch anime anymore, and one day he was too good to be furry so deleted furry folder etc. he's kinda status conscious

other theory is it's part of LRH self actualisation framework, removing purposeless etc things from ur life
