it's not end of world, but bad teeth r such an embarrassing poverty and lower class and junkie indicator, and have lots of other health implications. for example not good for brain or heart if u have some permanent infection in ur mouth

i didn't feel like going to dentist for past 3 years bc i don't trust private ones. it was just a weird and shady experience. (tried 4 years ago) coming from a country where u just go to municipal dentist, and there are no other dentists basically

now i found there's some university dental clinic here, which seems bit more trustworthy, so will go there

anyway the problem isn't some little cavities but apparently the enamel having been stripped from acid or something. if they fail looking at some more extensive procedures than just patching up cavities. which is also pretty low class thing, having had to do dat, while cavities r still relatively normal thing

I have been going to the same private dentist for more than 20 years now, my family knows him and has frequented him all this time. He works in Polanco expensive part of the city (in)famous for being where all the Jewish immigrants live.

He is pretty cheap and told me I had no cavities even though I hadn't seen him in more than a year.

but i'm not interested in the process of having to find one of those, when could just go to public clinic, or some larger clinic where the dentists r salaried

i really hope doctors start getting replaced by ai, and then surgery and dentistry not long after
