>>295847Slowly moving on, seeing another girl right now but I'm not ready to be emotionally invested just yet.
Spent the last 6 months or so without basically going out ever, just did an intensive coursework to get a job I wanted and got an unrelated job too. January was last time I had sex with JapMex woman and she told me that we should stay friends otherwise she would get emotionally invested, would develop feelings and the relationship would become toxic/doomed since she wasn't really interested in me in the long run and neither was I. We're still friends and she texts me ocassionally asking how I'm doing and stuff but it's kinda weird to reciprocate emotionally to her.
Decided on moving on to work and my goal was having 2 jobs but couldn't help myself and messaged my ex 3 weeks ago after finishing my coursework. After finishing the coursework I had some job offers but I was mentally/emotionally exhausted and decided to decline them lol.
Anyway so my ex hadn't said a word to me since December when I drove to her village to give her stuff/clothes back.
I spent several months this year finishing a painting we had started together two years ago (pic rel) as an excuse to talk to her again. I did this because back in november when she asked her stuff back I told her that I wanted to keep it. She said "okay", then said "if you ever finish it, I would like to see how it looks like…"
3 weeks ago she only replied "looks good" and didn't say anything else.
Then I trauma dumped a bit and sent her a long ass text saying "Idk if you care about probably not but whatever I still need to say this, need to trauma dump so I can move on: yeah I miss you, I have some money saved now in case it's possible to rent together, remote job, can move to her village, kicked out her toxic exfriend (my roommate)…" There's more but it's not worth to make this post longer. "If it's not possible to return or anything like that I'm still interesting in renewing a link with you or at least seeing each other at some point to smooth out rough edges, feel like that would help me to move on with my life"
Obviously I accepted that our relationship ended more than a year ago and she could have another man by now or whatever but still felt like getting it off my chest since it was stuff I had planned and thought about for months.
She replied "It's not quite that I don't care, I'm honestly very busy and exhausted nowadays so I don't know how and I don't even have time to digest your message. I don't believing in 'smoothing out rough edges', everyone involved made their decisions and to be honest with you I was left with a really bad taste in my mouth after everything that happened. Hope you understand and do what's best for you".
I apologized about certain decisions/situations I fumbled last year, said I listened to our problems and tried working on them, etc
She said "I don't feel like you're listening Mexislav, not then, not now. You say all these as if the issues were a few situations in particular when the problem all along was my personality clashing vs yours. I still need to work on myself and I'm not ready. Not even "to smooth out rough edges". If I ever feel ready enough in the future and you still want to I could be willing to try. Hope you understand and sincerely wish you the best"
At the end I realized that… she was right, our personalities were clashing and I did things that made her feel terrible despite me not meaning to, and she also did/does things to me that make me feel awful despite her not meaning to. Any attempt to return now would more likely end up the same way as before.
Finally decided to talk/see another girl after all this time. I'm not really interested that much in this other girl but for my mental health it's best to see other people now.
