For a hawaiian island it sure is dark. Nfshp2 did the tropical island schtick better.
I see how it did the modern driving game concept early but I'm not too enamored with the modern driving games like forza or the crew where you can just barge through everything without penalty
I wish these games just did at least something well, they all try to do offroad and boats and flying and shit and open world at the same time
It just sucks being a carfag these days. Most of the current games have terrible technical debt too, nor Nascar 25 nor Crew motorfest supports modern upscaling nor they have a forward facing graphical scope or anything

One thing I appreciate in the tdu is the ability to set the cockpit view, that needs to come back.

Well, they used to be the standard, now they are not. But you couldn't walk past them in the 2000's. They also made this TDU style open world later in Rivals (I would say that game holds up to this day) with the one button 1v1s
They made some of the dearest games to me but I acknowledge their shortcomings
