Nigga it involves manual labour
No. 292936 [PM]
>>292931>>292933well, it involves exactly as much labour as ur able to handle
4 example how i see it:
level 1 u just tend to ur tree plantation and rent ur fields to some other farmer
level 2 u tend those fields too. maybe chicken pen
level 3 u have milk cows too
so obv i would start w/ just trees and then see how much more i can handle

most small farms operate on super thin margins and are at constant risk
unless you do some special deals and projects or have some niche you can cater to

>>292942yeh but u have to have some useful work (i hate the endless beautifying shit ppl invent for their house or cottage. for me it's utilitarian dilapidated house and extra energy on farming)

>>292995yeh i'm not sure wat he means w/ that part
i would have plenty of farmer relatives etc to coordinate w/, if i did it. but i obv need money to get started, and extra money to pay for the work that would be too much for me

>>292998Most countries have some protections for farmers so dat is not the problem
The problem is that youll not able to grow much. Not having the soil already is a fatal mistake, if you wont be able find some manageable place where some thing grown before and it wasnt cashcrops with thousand of kinds of fertilizer and pesticide then you are left to grace of God that your random seeds will grow at all
The labour isnt even the biggest problem, but if you would want to grow some thing and without some knowledge about the soil and having even not so bad soil is very difficult. Industrial farming is very different than small scale farming, if you are born in a farmer's house, you have soil that has history and you can be relatively sure of wat can grow on it. If you dont have dat, you are really out of luck, it will be far to expensive to grow

>>293005there's plenty more farms around than there r ppl inheriting them who r interested in farming them. so u can buy one. i said 500k bit further up, which would be price of pretty big farm here
but obv i don't have that kind of money rn
No. 293012 [PM]
>>293008Yeah, farming sucks. It doesnt help that megafarms can just use all kinda chemicals to grow cashcrops until soil just becomes desert
>>293011Well, if it is dat easy, then there isnt a problem isnt there…
