I have seen this is a common trope with boomers
Like 40+ y/o ppl say they can't read dark themes and will insist on a light theme idk why.

>>278181Actually I'd rather assist Kotia
I haven't coded literally anything in years, skill decay is real ww
But yea I'd also never vibe code any retarded shit into the site either
Also it's not like I want Adam to act immediately, just bumping stuff because bugs exist
Kotia also could fix them I guess but IDK/IDR how the arrangement is exactly, I think Adam just does stuff pretty much directly on the server and nobody else can access the code, like not even in a way of providing own patches - Kotia did make some changes to the engine but IDK, I guess he was just on a rapid dial with Adam at the time - I sorta dislike that kind of arrangement, I think we should have something like a git repository for this vichan modification or something, even if not public (because maybe some stuff in the code rather not get published lol)
Anyway it's not like I think it's particularly unusual for Adam to be absent like this, me just waiting for him to get a free minute to fix stuff (realistically probably he'd rather accept a patch than do it himself lol but I won't even ask for the code because have no idea/will to fix it myself ATM) (CSS are easier and I still drag them out lol)
No. 278196 [PM]
>>278175There is absolutely no good reason to support exe files on an imageboard IMO lol
Imageboards are not file hostings
There is that old RARJPG trick which basically allows you to attach an arbitrary archive to the image (think 7Z and ZIP also work) and upload it as long as the filesize restriction allows it but it relies on the uploaded file not being modified (I think staffas has something which compresses source images so it'd butcher that)
Blah ww
No. 278202 [PM]
>>278200Yea he was also most likely joking when saying Adam should pass Staffas to me lol (don't remember asking xD).
New pic format support is good and probably relatively easy to implement though (AFAIK vichan just uses imagemagick under the hood).

webp support is still kinda niche unfortunately.
Like most modern websites will turn images to webp but otherwise can't read them for whatever reason.
