Asus routers got mass exploited last month but otherwise no. Think it has a scratch on one of the pics.
Sometimes you can get crazy deal on luxury items second hand because number of buyers are too few

I would never ever buy second hand digital item from turkey second hand market

I never got scammed because I always get familiar with the subject first before buying something
Also I buy expensive tech on sites with honor systems

I read routers bought in eu get epicly eurocucked due to radio wave rules governing how strong the wifi signal can be

I heard it makes it harder for them to provide good signal through concrete walls and shit but idk of it's true

The newer AI version BE19000AI can run docker containers and shit and has an NPU, interesting stuff
But it costs real dolla, I would just build my own router then with pfsense and hookers

My connection is dog shit here in Kraków but NGL I would love fast local transfer speeds for streaming video games from PC to tv and other shit like that

NGL all the shit you can do with these modern routers is pretty interesting

I got just got an old TP-Link Archer c1200 which the previous owner of this apartment left and I never replaced its bitch ass because my internet package is slow as hell anyway

Found this channel reviewing routers, dude looks like an english peasant from the 12th century but he's really nice and the vids are structured well
This router might also interest you

I'm just in for the wifi 7 game to maximize download speeds to my handheld (plus my phone is flakey on wifi too but that could be the phone ofc)
Might get into AI and homeserver later, that's why the big tubes would be good

ya this guy seems good

I really need to work more on my chicago home net since I have my home AI setup there (plus energy/hardware is cheaper there etc).

one of the coolest things to do with AI coding agent is to give it access to your PCs and networking shit and to run tests, tweak changes, etc and to have it run and benchmark for maybe even hours to get a totally optimal config

Why not simply switch package/company?
I pay for the cheapest budget connection and got 150 mbps and connect straight with ethernet. Never liked lap tops, only good for work-related remote video calls when you absolutely don't want to move out of bed.

I would only ever consider buying such thing if I absolutely had to play Fortnite on my lap living in the Yucatan jungle.

No other option in my old ass building

Connecting to the city's fiber network is free but requires majority vote of all tenants and the average age of the apartment owners in this building is like 80

Plus it's all one big extended family and they own a restaurant on the same street that would have to close down for all the construction required to join my building to that network to expand options

other than this tho I absolutely love where I live now

funny thing is that I could have the best internet in Europe practically if I moved back to my little ass home village because my childhood home is right up against a main hub road

>>273232
You can actually tether sim cards to these asus routers through USB. Idk how usa data plans are doe

I've seen my swiss coworkers bragging about having 25Gbps up/down. I'm pretty sure that's the fastest package anyone can get in a normal ass residential building.

I can get 10Gbps in my little ass town but if you go even a few home away from the road there's no such option

File: 1778953119867.png (120.03 KB, 841x530, ClipboardImage.png)

might actually be in finland

> 42 Gbps on a home connection

holy shit

Up from 10 gig gets troublesome, I would be fine with 10 gig
One of these soy homenetwork youtubers proved 10 gig can go over even cat5 or some other barbaric shit over short distances

  No. 273281 [PM]

>>273280
ya tbh I'd have a hard time figuring out what to do with even 10 most of the time
