Yeah, actually, because of security they do all kinda stuff for government. Theyve replaced Windows in governmenral organizations and security critical or watever places with Astra Linux which supposed to be secure. Its difficult to say how secure it all, I imagine certification processes as corrupt so dunno. I looked at electric car and thought dat no Russian electric car exist only Chinese one but under Russian brend but turns out they try to make Russian electric car, called Atom, which is made in Russia on local factory and own battery… Which when you look at China is funny and sad, and its not even being produced yet if ever. Yeah, there are also automobile operating systems, I know dat Aurora also has car version or watever. There is also this Kaspersky OS but I dunno, it just sound funny… So, yeah, Im in search of Russian technology and it seems it is really difficult to make technology when all smart guy just emigrate and watever

didnt know about e car though, i think basically they just want to be able to make it. russia cant compete with electric vehicles with rest of the world, so they will probably be always steps behind. not to sound racist but i wouldnt trust russian self driving car :D

Eh, so, I dunno about it but wat I know about Astra is dat it is Debian but with some extra spice to pass certifications which allow it to be used in critical places. So, there is a desktop environment written for Astra, named Fly or some thing, which is most noticeable thing. So, they must add some security related stuff it it I guess, my care about it is minimal since I dont really care and it seems regular guy cant install it (well, every thing is reskinned GNU I guess)

Eh, to be honest, Yandex's self driving technology is actually good, at least it was when they were allowed to operate in America. But your racism is noted, there is no thing shameful in being racist if you are open about it… (Yeah, there is no competition with China…)

How robot is related to self driving car though? I mean they are related, some wat, because of machine learning and stuff… but I dunno. Yandex's self driving car worked in America and it seem like it worked well, for example when founder of company Volozh had to exit Yandex due to war reasons, he really wanted to take self driving technology because he thought it was as his crown jewel thing. So, yeah, I guess it was wrong targeting on your part with this one…

As for robot, eh. There is no good robotics in Russia, so it aint surprising. So, yeah, not the technology dat Russians are good at for sure… Its sad dat good engineer just go away, but I support them because I wish all the worst to the government… Perhaps in some future all legends will return back to the book… some day…

They are manufactured at TSMC, so, dunno. Russia has some capacity to make very primitive chip, there were some rumours that there is some factory which can make chip smaller than 100 nm. But yeah, it is all for military, so they are pretty much useless… Dont like Elbruses, like Balkal though, because its ARM
