One of the mistakes I made when I was grilling on monday is that I didn't toast all the buns before making the meats
Once your patties are done they start leaking sweat juices and if you just put them on a plate, they will leak them on the plate and lose it. Now we are getting everything done before the patties so the patties can come in hot and the burgers can be assembled in an orderly fashion getting all the juices. If that isn't great then I don't know what is

bacon in the UK is usually more like Canadian bacon, both are back bacon whereas USA has the streaky pork belly bacon. I prefer USA style bacon tbh, it's fattier and crispier, UK / Canadian bacon is more like glorified gammon or something
