UFD tech makes a better case for it but I'm still not sold on this from a technology standpoint.
The analog sticks should be the standard length, they are the shorter psvr2 controller ones. This makes the aiming in an fps more painful since you don't have a resolution of the standard ds5 stick on that short distance where the sticks engage (aka it's more similar to Switch sticks). This makes harder to replace them once they go bad since the volume of production wont be at the level of the ds5 sticks.
I think it's very irresponsible of playstation to rely on the customer's router to maintain a connection to the portal since I imagine there will be people who still have routers with sub-gigabit connections to their playstations (why upgrade when the internet connection is slow, right?) This is kind of where the whole "tech reviewer reviews things" model falls apart because they will always have the best wifi and networks.
Still this thing will have the best ergonomics compared to any of the handhelds but it will probably remain a niche product.
