probably oversimplifies it but it’s not a science
“twink“ would originally just have been used for a young gay (usually white) guy who’s skinny with little-to-no body hair with an average-to-cute youthful face, usually used when you were just being introduced to the gay community as a young adult, seen as desirable and usually easy to sleep with
it would’ve been something very specific originally, I guess, but a lot of people would’ve fit that description 20-30 years ago, as we weren’t so fat
but like many terms in the age of the internet it’s become more incoherent in its usage
