yeah honestly while I do admire that Kojima is an actual "auteur" within AAA games, I don't like his writing all that much. Also the fact that the narrative is told entirely though lengthy cutscenes I dislike. Video games are an interactive medium and they're best when they tell their narrative naturally through gameplay instead of just cosplaying as films for a while before unceremoniously going back to the game lol
